Marvel studio’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ teaser out

The first teaser of Marvel Studios’ upcoming film Thor: Love and Thunder was shared by the makers on Monday evening. Directed by Taika Waititi, the much-awaited Marvel film will release in theatres on July 8.

Picking up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Thor: Love and Thunder is all about the growth of Hemsworth’s Thor Odinson. The movie features him working with the Guardians of the Galaxy after leaving Earth with them at the conclusion of the Infinity Saga.

The teaser, featuring Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, presents a new side of Thor. He decides to give up the battle and follow the path of peace and self-discovery. The one and half minute cute also shares a glimpse of the Guardians of the Galaxy group including Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel.

Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) returns for the first time since Thor: The Dark World.  However, the biggest moment of the teaser is towards its end when it is revealed that Portman’s Jane Foster is the new Mighty Thor. These superheroes will be challenged by Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), a powerful god-killing being who will go toe-to-toe with Thor and Mighty Thor.
