Marvel Studios has grandly kickstarted phase 4 of MCU. Their recent release 'Shang Chi' is doing wonders in the box office even during this pandemic time. Also, MCU has successfully made the jump to television with Emmy winner 'WandaVision' and buzzy hits 'Loki', 'The Falcon and the Winter Solider' and 'What If...?'

'Hawkeye', the best archer in the world and the best pal of Black Widow, is next up to visit the fans via Disney+ and Hotstar in December. The series has Jeremy Renner reprising his Avengers character opposite MCU newcomer Hailee Steinfeld. Florence Pugh also reprises her fan-favorite 'Black Widow' role in this upcoming series.

Marvel has unleashed the first official trailer of Hawkeye this evening. The series centres around Clint Barton’s titular archer superhero Hawkeye and his mentee Kate Bishop. Bishop is an archer superheroine who has taken up the mantle of the Hawkeye and was the first woman to do so. Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye, acts as her mentor.

Barton is also set to address his alter ego Ronin, which he transformed into after losing his family in Avengers: Infinity War. Barton was seen as Ronin in Avengers: Endgame. The two-minute-long trailer is filled with stunning action sequences and comic moments. It also promises an interesting father-daughter sort of relationship between Clint and Kate.

The supporting cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy, and James Alaqua Cox. The Hawkeye series will have six episodes and is set to premiere on November 24 on Disney+Hotstar. The show will air weekly episodes through the end of December.
