The government bans Marvel's "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" in this country - Know why

We already informed you that Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' was banned from theatrical release in Kuwait and Qatar as they follow strict guidelines for film censorship. Now, Marvel Studios' next movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is banned in Saudi Arabia.
Multiverse of Madness is a sequel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 2016 film 'Doctor Strange' based on a comic superhero character of the same name. Sam Raimi, who directed the world famous Spider-Man franchise starring Tobey Maguire, has made this second film in the series.
Benedict Cumberbatch is reprising his titular role role as Dr Stephen Strange aka Doctor Strange while Elizabeth Olsen returns as Wanda Maximoff, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer with Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.
The film is scheduled to hit the cinemas on May 6 including Indian languages. Meanwhile, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been banned in Saudi Arabia as it features the homosexual character America Chavez played by Xochitl Gomez. It has been reported that the certificate cannot be issued in Saudi Arabia under the laws of the country.
