It's no surprise the grand opening 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' has taken with the film cashing in close to $900 million worldwide so far. However, that being said, a film of such magnitude poses its own set of challenges.
Marvel President Kevin Feige recently spoke on the challenges faced right from coordinating the actors' busy schedules to shooting in different countries, it all took beyond mighty effort.
Kevin says, "The globetrotting in this movie was something that was built into the story early on. It was important for us; we believe that The Avengers are global heroes, not just U.S. heroes. So we wanted to take them all around the world and there are logistical issues that come along with that, shooting everywhere from London to Bangladesh to Seoul, South Korea to Johannesburg. The actors' schedules, though, probably trumps it because you have pretty much a small army of production personnel who are very good at what they do and can handle all sorts of moves around the globe. The hard part is when, just on one sound stage, you're having a difficult time getting four people together at the same time. That's a double-edged sword, though, because that's because every one of our actors are now big, giant stars and have very busy schedules. The benefit of that is when you do get them together, you get what you see in the movie, which is worth all the trouble."
Here's the film's official synopsis:
"Marvel Studios presents 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth`s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure."
'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is currently running successfully worldwide.
