It's known that Maruthi's untitled film with Prabhas went on the floors recently. Without much fuss, ten days of its production have been completed. The out-and-out entertainer, produced by People Media Factory, is going to hit the screens in 2024. Niddhi Agarwal and Malavika Mohanan are its heroines.

Just because the film is an entertainer, it doesn't mean it is not going to feature expensive VFX. It is learned that Maruthi is marshalling his wide experience in animation for the movie. He worked for DQ Entertainment International after his graduation. His creative instincts can be traced to this stint.

Maruthi is making this one into his most prestigious project. Even though he has been in the industry for many years and it has been almost a decade since he turned into a director, Maruthi is known only for two movies: 'Prema Katha Chitram' (which he wrote but didn't direct) and Nani-starrer 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy'.

Prabhas' fans are not confident about the project. They have been trolling much like 'anti-fans'. So, Maruthi must be working with a vengeance.

The Prabhas-starrer assumes significance for obvious reasons. It's said that the film's VFX is going to cost a bomb, something like Rs 80 Cr.
