Press Council of India's ex Chairman happy for the Tamils

Protests still continue as the Tamils are not willing to withdraw until they get an official judgement from the apex court.

Markandey Katju, former Chaiman of Press Council of India, feels ecstatic on hearing that the Governor of Tamil Nadu has issued the Ordinance to conduct Jallikattu.

Previously a Judge in the Supreme Court of India, Mr. Katju affirms that the Ordinance will become a law, once the Tamil Nadu legislature passes it. He expresses his best wishes for TN.
