Dhanush who has turned his humble beginnings as stepping stones today hold the fort as one of the most admired young actors in India. Stepping away from home Dhanush has delivered two acclaimed films in Hindi Ranjhanaa`and Shamitabh` on his way to signing his first International project as the lead in "The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir".
The film, adapted from French author Romain Puértolas`s novel The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Wardrobe was to be directed by Marjane Satrapi and filming to begin from early 2017. Now, due to an unfortunate turn of events Marjane Satrapi has walked out of the project and the team is looking out for a replacement, which could cause a further delay in the start of the ambitious project. Uma Thurman and Alexandra Daddario had signed on to share the screen with Dhanush.
