As reported by us earlier actress Parvathi of 'Poo' , 'Mariyaan' and 'Uttama Villain' fame remarked at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK)  that Mammootty's women degrading dialogues in 'Kasaba' were in bad taste and an actor of his stature should not have agreed to mouth them.

Parvathi an her family were at the receiving end of a barrage of extreme abuse from alleged Mammootty fans on the internet with some of them going to the extent of threatening her life and career.  Acting on the talented actress's complaints the Kerala police have arrested a 23 year old man named Printo C hailing from Vadakancherry.  publishing or transmitting sexually explicit material electronically, anonymous criminal intimidation and utraging the modesty of a woman.

Police sources inform that more people who have indulged in similar abuses against Parvathi will soon be arrested and sever action will be taken. Time for over enthusiastic fans to rethink how they should behave on the world wide web especially towards women or face the consequences.
