Makers of 'Maamannan' officially announce a musical evening with AR Rahman!

Acclaimed director Mari Selvaraj's ambitious project 'Maamannan' is gearing up for a grand release in June month. Produced by Red Giant Movies, this film is touted to be the last film in actor and minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's cinema career. Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh are also a part of the star cast.
AR Rahman, Mozart of Madras, is composing the musical score for the movie. As we reported earlier, the audio launch event of Maamannan is slated to take place in Nehru Stadium, Chennai on June 1st. ARR will be performing live and will make it a musical evening. Reportedly, the team is planning to release the movie on Bakrid (June 29).
It is worth mentioning that the makers have already launched two songs from the album and they have become chartbusters. Touted to be a political thriller, the technical team includes Theni Eswar as the cinematographer, Selva RK as the editor, Kumar Gangappan as the art director and Yugabharathi as the lyricist with stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan.
