A Marathi actor/director, identified as Mandar Kulkarni, has been arrested for sexually harassing a minor girl during a photoshoot. He allegedly invited the girl to his place on the pretext of getting a photoshoot for one of his upcoming TV shows and insisted that she wear a bikini despite her initial refusal.

"Kulkarni called her to his apartment on August 16, saying he wanted to cast her in a play. He gave her some dresses to wear and clicked her pictures. He then allegedly handed her a bikini, and when the girl expressed reservations, he showed her pictures of other girls in that attire. The girl wore the bikini and he clicked some more pictures. Later the girl told her mother about the incident, and they approached police," the investigating officer reportedly said.

An FIR has been registered on the accused under Section 354 of the IPC, as well as the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
