Marakkar: Pranav Mohanlal's character poster is out!

Slated to release on March 26, the makers of 'Marakkar - Arabikadalinte Simham' have unveiled the much-awaited character poster of Pranav Mohanlal. Pranav looks fierce in the character poster, that has already gone viral on social media. Reportedly, Pranav is playing the younger version of Mohanlal in the movie. Going by the poster, Pranav will be seen performing some brilliant stunts and a song sequence. Pranav is paired opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan in the flick.
The film which is directed by Priyadarshan is set during the era of the 16th century in Kerala and is based on the legendary sailor Kunjali Marakkar IV, played by Mohanlal. The epic period drama is produced at a budget of Rs 100 crore and will feature an ensemble cast of Keerthi Suresh, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Suhasini and Mukesh among others. Several foreign actors are also said to be acting in the film.
Antony Perumbavoor is bankrolling the project under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. 'Marakkar' will hit screens simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. A Hindi version is also expected. Being an ambitious project of Priyadarshan, the movie is expected to have the grandeur that Mollywood has never seen before.
Pranav made his hero debut with 'Aadhi'. The actor is currently working with Vineeth Sreenivasan for an upcoming movie titled 'Hridayam'.
