Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham: Mohanlal and Pranav look stunning together!

Slated to release on March 26, the makers of 'Marakkar - Arabikadalinte Simham' are enthralling the fans by unveiling the character posters of the stars. The makers have kick-started the final round of promotions and recently unveiled a stunning new poster featuring the father-son duo of Mohanlal and Pranav. Being the first poster featuring the two together, the audience couldn't stop going gaga over it.
The film which is directed by Priyadarshan is set during the era of the 16th century in Kerala and is based on the legendary sailor Kunjali Marakkar IV, played by Mohanlal. Pranav is playing the younger version of Mohanlal in the movie. Pranav is paired opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan. Director Priyadarshan had earlier confirmed that, though Pranav’s screen time is limited, there is enough scope for him to showcase his skills as he will be seen performing stunts and a dance sequence along with Kalyani Priyadarshan.
The epic period drama is produced at a budget of Rs 100 crore and will feature an ensemble cast of Keerthi Suresh, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Suhasini and Mukesh among others. Several foreign actors are also said to be acting in the film.
Antony Perumbavoor is bankrolling the project under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. 'Marakkar' will hit screens simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. A Hindi version is also expected. Being an ambitious project of Priyadarshan, the movie is expected to have the grandeur that Mollywood has never seen before.
