As reported earlier, Dhanush is making his Mollywood production debut with the upcoming Tovino Thomas movie 'Tharangam'. Now, the latest that we hear is the actor-producer is once again teaming up again with Tovino for his second Malayalam production venture titled 'Maradona'.

Scripted by Krishnamoorthy, 'Maradona' will mark the directorial debut of Vishnu Narayanan, the former associate director of Aashiq Abu. Debutante Sharanya R Nair essays the female lead opposite Tovino Thomas in Maradona. It is a feel-good movie with elements of an action thriller. The movie will also feature Chemban Vinod, Nishthar Ahammed, Liyona Lishoy, Angamaly Diaries fame actors Titto Wilson, Kichu Varkey and Jince Bhaskar, etc., playing pivotal roles.

Sushin Shyam composes the songs and background score for the movie which has Deepak D Menon handling the camera department. Funded by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films, 'Maradona' is expected to start rolling at Chavakkad from July 30. Wayanad and Bangalore are other locations.
