Many Bollywood celebrities had a narrow escape from 'Earthquake Tragedy'!

The deadly earthquake that killed nearly 1,000 in Nepal and other parts of Asian courtiers including India also trapped many Bollywood celebrities, fortunately all escaped the disaster.
Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpai, famous for his performances in movies like SATYA, RAAJNEETI, AARAKSHAN, GANGS OF WASSEYPUR etc. had a miraculous escape from the deadly earthquake tragedy that devastated major parts of Nepal and several parts of Northern and Eastern India.
The 46-year-old actor, who was in Siliguri for BBC radio felicitation in a tweet informed, "I had returned after attending the BBC radio felicitation program and was relaxing in my hotel when I was taken aback by severe tremors which were so intense that the hotel walls were cracked. Luckily not much damage was done and I rushed out from the hotel to Bagdogra airport to visit the Indo Bangladesh border."
"On my way I experienced tremor near the mountains in Siliguri but fortunately, once again I escaped from any untoward tragedy," he heaved a sigh of relief.
He added, "On reaching Bagdora airport I was aghast to see the panic stricken people running helter and shelter to save their lives."
"The most painful scene was to witness a woman losing her metal balance and crying hysterically. It was a scary sight. I pray for the people affected by the disastrous earthquake in Nepal and India," he observed.
Besides Manoj Bajpai, Bollywood director Kunal Deshmukh, who directed Mahesh Bhatt's hit film JANNAT staring Emraan Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan was in Kathmandu when the 7.9-magnitude earthquake hit Nepal. However he too was safe and sound but left stranded as the Nepal airport as it was shut due to the natural calamity.
Readers would be surprised to know that even the tremors of earthquake were felt in New Delhi. Bollywood actress Mugdha Godse, who acted in Madhur Bhandharkar's movies like FASHION and HEROINE, was in Delhi and shopping at Select Citywalk Mall in Delhi's Saket area. Experiencing the tremors she rushed out and was saved.
She tweeted, Just witnessed an earthquake in Delhi Saket Select City! Ran out of the building.'
Meanwhile the entire film fraternity expressed their anguish and concerns for the victims of the earthquake. Bollywood celebrities from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan among others shared information about the helpline numbers as well as offered prayers and condolences for those hit.
