Superstar Akshay Kumar is trying his hands in the historical genre for the first time with his upcoming film 'Prithviraj'. He is going to play the titular role in the film based on life and exploits of the legendary Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The teaser was released recently and while it focused mainly on Akshay, it gave a glimpse of the leading lady Manushi Chhillar as well. The model turned actress is going to play Princess Sanyogita in the film.

Manushi believes that she has worked very hard on the film and she had no doubt that it is going to do great at the box office. In a recent interview, she said, “I have given my heart, soul and tears to this film and I hope that people will like my effort in playing such an iconic real life legend on the big screen. I’m immensely grateful that I had Akshay sir as a pillar of support to me all through the shoot. His work ethic, his dedication to the craft is an inspiration to me.”

With competence, comes confidence. Manushi is quite confident about her performance. She said, "I’m extremely positive about Prithviraj and I know that it will entertain audiences worldwide with a story of iconic love, legendary valour and unflinching courage.
