Xiaomi launches its costliest premium smartphone!

Manufacturers of smartphones Xiaomi launched its first premium flasgship smartphone Mi Mix 2. This will be the company’s costliest phone to have released so far.
One of the highlights of the phone is that its 5.99 inch full HD in 18:9 aspect ratio display comes without a bezel. A bezel is all the plastic/metal space that is not the display in a phone. By going bezel less as many of the forefront phone comapnies are doing, the display becomes bigger with less weight.
With no bezel to accomodate an earpiece, the device will use a hidden sound guided speaker technology to reverbrate sound through the display and the frame.
The price of the phone is fixed at Rs.35,999 with 6 Gb RAM and 128 GB storage. The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and powered by QualcommSnapdragon 835 SoC. However it’s variant with 8GB RAM will not release in India.
The smartphone also has a Sony 12 megapixel rear camera with facial recognition. The 5 megapixel front camera also has a facial recognition feature that could eb used to unlock the phone.

The smartphone which comes off as a stiff competition to OnePlus 5, is expected to draw in a more customers who have been waiting for a release from Xiaomi.
Users can buy the smartphone from online retail store Flipkart , Mi store starting October 17 or when the phone’s general availaibility starts from the first week of November.
