Even before the success of the film ‘Mantram’ in the box office, director SS Sajjan and producer Amar Chaudhari have announced the sequel with actors Shamanth Shetty and Pallavi Raju on the dais on last Tuesday evening.

It was in the last week the film ‘Mantram’ got released and the response to the second half of the film was tremendous. The issue of child abuse dealt in the film is scoring point of this film with statistics.

Producer Amar Chaudhari claims that he has spent Rs.1.9 crores on this film, in the first week there is encouraging response, he got Rs.30 lakhs from Hindi remakes, Rs.13 lakhs from dubbing rights. He is yet to get back his investment.

It would take four weeks to get full investment admits distributor of the film Navarasan. The increase in screens for ‘Mantram’ is another confidence for success.

Shamanth Shetty is happy on Mantram 2 sequel. There was no proper conclusion and that you would find in second part he says. Pallavi Raju heroine of the film says the feedback is very good despite of big star films around.

Director Sajjan is giving a class touch to the second half. There will be no horror element he assures.
