Charmme-starrer Mantra 2 is a horror-thriller. The film is not a sequel to Mantra, but has been named so because of the same genre. The pretty damsel plays the main lead and the story revolves around her character. Mantra 2 has suspense and terror as the lead elements in the plot, and the narration will be highlighted by graphics and technical values. The director has borrowed a few real life incidents and weaved them into a script.
Gandhi Manohar provided the story while Chakri has composed the tunes. Directed by debutante SV Suresh, the film is produced by Ravi Teja and Bonala Srikanth under Teja Films' banner.
