Actor Mansoor Ali Khan, has been hitting the headlines of all social media platforms ever since the video of his derogatory and sexist remarks on Trisha went viral. He is facing legal action after he was booked under two sections by the Thousand Lights police. His anticipatory bail application is also coming up for hearing later today. After his distasteful speech Mansoor not only received severe backlash from Trisha herself and 'Leo' director Lokesh Kanagaraj but several celebrities including Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Karthik Subbaraj. The Nadigar Sangam demanded unconditional public apology from the actor-politician who refused to do so and instead threatened legal action aginst the organization and a defamation case against Trisha.

The legal repercussions seem to have mellowed down Mansoor who has rendered an apology in chaste Tamil. Roughly translated it reads "Trisha my co-star Forgive me!
