Manomi novel turns 'Ramaravanan' with Suresh Gopi

Madhavikutty's famous novel ‘Manomi’ is being redone as ‘Ramaravanan’ to be made into a movie. The movie which will launch Biju Raveendran (Biju Vattappara) as a director, will star Suresh Gopi and Mithra Kurian in lead roles.

Suresh Gopi will essay a different role as Thiruselvam, a Srilankan Tamil Mithra is in the title character of Manomi, a Sinhala girl who falls in love with Thiruselvam. Also in the cast are Nedumudi Venu, Lena, Sudheesh, Biju Menon, Vijayakumar, Jagathy, Suraj, Baburaj and Krishna.

Kaithapram will handle the music department of 'Manomi' while Jibu Jacob is in charge of cinematography. Produced by Thushar International, the movie is being extensively shot at Thenkasi and Srilanka.
