Smile-smeared faces and glittering stars were all that one got to see, at the wedding reception of Manoj Bharathy and Nandana.

Manoj Bharathy is the son of the celebrated director of Tamil cinema, Bharathiraja, who took Tamil films to new heights with his films soaked with Tamil nativity. Manoj Bharathy turned an actor and acted in a few films, and his performance in Kadal Pookal directed by his father won him appreciation from many quarters.

Nandana, also an actor, is one of those few actors with subdued expressions that manage to strike a chord in the viewers’ hearts. The love between Manoj Bharathy and Nandana culminated in a happy marriage at Calicut and the reception was held in Chennai last evening, at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall.
