Now ahead of the second edition of Filmfare Awards OTT, actor Manoj Bajpayee opened up about the significance of Filmfare in his budding years and he revealed how it played an important part in making him pursue a career in acting.
Recalling the time his father used to take him to movies, Manoj said, "I really looked forward to that time when I would get to sit in a dark theatre. But before the film started, I used to wait for the documentary of that year--Filmfare Award. That black-and-white documentary of Filmfare used to be my favourite!”
Manoj shared that the idea of becoming an actor was inculcated right then and there for him. “I could see all my favourite actors hobnobbing, not in film costumes or the character costume, but in their own clothes, looking dazzling. And that used to put me in complete awe of the actors and their profession. This is when I was nurturing the dream of becoming an actor," shared the actor.
