It is officially confirmed that Manoj Bajpai has replaced Prakash Raj in Tiru's bi-lingual film, with Vishal as hero. The film has Trisha playing the female lead. The role of the main villain was earlier offered to Raj but he backed out of the film citing dates problems. The film will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu.

This is the first time since Sathya, that Manoj Bajpai and JD Chekravarthy are sharing screenspace. The twosome stood out with their performances in RGV's Sathya. Bajpai, who was seen in some forgettable roles in a couple of Telugu films (including the one in Allu Arjun's Happy), can hope to strike gold with this one. His is said to be a very important role. JD, the actor-director in distress, has a key role cut out for him.

It looks like the film is an action-packed intense drama.
