In 'Manmadhudu-2', Akkineni Nagarjuna may be playing an atypically older person but his expressions are anything but. He shows frustration and joy like a man-child. Is his over-the-top behaviour integral to the character sketched by writer-director Rahul Ravindran?

Rakul Preet Singh plays his much younger girlfriend, who is saddled with the commitment-phobic guy. Going by her behaviour in the trailer, expect her to pull her male lead's legs quite often. Deprecation of the hero is not seen regularly in our movies and this feature, among others, is what makes 'Manmadhudu-2' special.

Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh and Lakshmi make sure the film appeals to the comedy-loving family audience. The film is set in a foreign country and the locations sit well with the mood of the story.

With music by Chaithan Bharadwaj and cinematography by M Sukumar, the film will hit the screens on August 9.
