Is 'Manmadhudu-2' going to be stripped of its sexy smooch scenes? Are we not going to catch a glimpse of Nagarjuna doing a lip-lock of sorts with Rakul Preet Singh in the movie?

As per some media reports, Nag has prodded his director, Rahul Ravindran, to do a rethink of the romantic portions in the movie. The film's teaser and the teaser for Rakul's character have tried to establish 'Manmadhudu-2' as a bold outing. The film's major appeal, as of now, is this perceived unabashed style of narration.

But the makers seem to be a bit wary of the unintended consequences of going the whole hog. So, Nag seems to be wishing for the de-romanticization of the film! The smooch scenes will be chopped off at the Edit table.

If true, once the film releases, the nature of its ads and promo videos will be different from what we have seen till now.

Featuring Vennela Kishore in a funny role, the film will release on August 9.
