'Manmadhudu-2' is carrying a huge burden.  It calls itself a family entertainer but seems to have got too much adult content.  

The Censor Board, giving U/A certification, has axed quite a number of obscene content in the film.  For example, the words fu*k, fu*king, basta*d, etc have been muted wherever they occur in the movie.  The MC word, glamorized by 'Arjun Reddy', was also there.  Even the 'BC' word was there, both of which have been muted.

'Fu*king bit*h' and 'fuc*king slut' have been muted.  Moaning sounds in the beginning of the movie have been muted.  

All this raises the question: Is Nagarjuna relying on playing it to the gallery?  Is adult content the low-hanging fruit that filmmakers are increasingly depending on?  After the success of 'iSmart Shankar', the market value for bold content has definitely gone up.  

Will Nag's loyal audience and fans accept such bold content in the movie?  It's a moot question.

The makers, on their part, have said that the film has got nothing obscene.  "Even the dialogues are cute and naughty but not vulgar," director Rahul Ravindran has said.  

It's just a few hours to go before the film's theatrical release.  It's anybody's guess as to how much of its dialogues and situations will be found acceptable by the audience.
