The Teaser for 'Manmadhudu-2' is, at one level, a reminder of Venkatesh's character 'Pelli Kaani' Prasad in 'Malleeswari' and what Nagarjuna could have done in K Vijay Bhaskar's 'Manmadhudu' back in the 2000s had the times been this advanced.  

Nag's character in 'Manmadhudu-2' doesn't fall in love; he only makes love.  That's as much as dialogue-writers Rahul Ravindran (also the film's director) and Kittu Vissapragada (those double meaning dialogues must be his) can say.  From Lakshmi to Devadarshini and Rao Ramesh, everyone only thinks that he is no longer meant for certain things.  And then the ageless but not spotless guy unleashes his ultra-romantic self.  

Vennela Kishore plays Nag's sidekick, while Rakul Preet Singh doesn't find a place in the Teaser.  

With music by Chaithan Bharadwaj and cinematography by M Sukumar, the film will hit the screens on August 9.
