The pre-release event of 'Manmadhudu-2' was held on Sunday evening. The event was attended by the film's cast and crew.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagarjuna said, "If my character in 'Manmadhudu' hated women, my character in this film loves them. It's a full circle for my onscreen characters. When I watched a French movie a couple of years ago, I felt that its story suits my age and image. The film says that love knows no age. We have remade that movie as 'Manmadhudu-2'. Director Rahul Ravindran has done a great job. We shot for the movie for 40 days in Portugal. I have never been this stylish in any movie in my career. The cinematographer is one of the reasons for it. It was quite easy to work with Rakul Preet Singh. She is not only a hard-worker but also is a very good person."

Nag added that the film will make the audience keep laughing from the first to the last scene. "Naga Chaitanya scored a hit with 'Majili' earlier this year. Then followed Samantha's 'Oh Baby'. On August 9, it's going to be my turn," the Akkineni senior added.

The event was also attended by Naga Chaitanya. "My father is attempting the kind of content (in films) and his sons should be doing. It's amazing that he is doing refreshing movies like this one. When we score a hit, we tend to do another movie in the same style. And if something flops, we tend to get too cautious. But Nanna garu is not like that. Hit or flop, he follows his heart," the 'Venky Mama' actor said.

The comedy entertainer, also starring Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Jhansi and others, will release on August 9.
