Ever since the Teaser for 'Manmadhudu-2' released on Thursday, several netizens have been pointing fingers at Chinmayi, the prominent singer and wife of the film's director (Rahul Ravindran).  Reason?  A few months ago, Chinmayi opined on Twitter that most of the movies cast heroines who are of the hero's daughter's age.  In 'Manmadhudu-2', Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh are the lead pair and, in real life, they are separated by about 30 years.  Why is Chinmayi silent now, trolls are asking.

On her part, Chinmayi has asked her trolls to wait and watch the movie before commenting.  "Listen. The sheer stupidity, attention-seeking tactics, not understanding context by so many men is boring but not surprising. Get a grip. You will understand when the film releases," she said.

The movie releases on August 9.
