Director Venkat Prabhu is one of the luckiest stars of the younger generation to have interacted with the legendary M.G.R.  Back on 25/11/1987 he had his Mruthangam Arangettram and the day was made even more memorable for him as Puratchi Thalaivar MGR the the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu presided over the function.

Venkat Prabhu has stated "An unforgettable day in my life!This pic was taken exactly thirty years ago today (25/11/1987) on my Mirudangam arangetram! And yes Puratchi Thalaivar MGR  blessed us that day!Had the privilege to sit on his lap!!Whatta gift!! Thanks to my parents for making this happen."
