The digital premieres of much-awaited films like Jyothika's 'Shaitaan' and Soubin Shahir's 'Manjummel Boys' are scheduled this week. The popular streaming platforms are set to stream nearly seventeen films and series by the weekend. Here is the list of new OTT releases coming your way:
Shaitaan (Hindi) on Netflix - A new supernatural horror film starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, Madhavan and Janki Bodiwala in the lead roles. It is directed by Vikas Bahl. It streams on May 3.
Manjummel Boys (Malayalam) on Disney+ Hotstar - This is the recent sensational survival thriller which rocked the South Indian box office. The movie is now the first 200 crores grosser and the highest grosser in Mollywood. It is about a group of youngsters from Kerala trying to save their friend who fell into a pit in the 'Gunaa' caves in Kodaikanal. It streams on May 5.
Guardian (Tamil) on Simply South - Hansika Motwani's new horror thriller debuts on May 3.
Wonka (English) on Jio Cinema - Timothee Chalamet starrer musical fantasy comedy film based on the origin story of the character 'Willy Wonka' from the iconic 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory'. The blockbuster Christmas release is all set to take over the audiences in Indian languages on May 3.
