Manju Warriers THIS movie to be remade by Boney Kapoor in several languages!

After Lucifer, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Helen, Thaneer Mathan Dinangal, Joseph, Ishq, Driving License and Kappela, now the latest Malayalam movie to join the remake league is Manju Warrier's 2019 movie 'Prathi Poovankozhi'.

As per latest reports, the Bollywood rights of the film have reportedly been acquired by producer Boney Kapoor. It is said that the movie will be remade in several other languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. It may be noted that Boney Kapoor had earlier bought the remake rights of Anna Ben’s Helen, which is set to be remade next year with Janhvi Kapoor playing the lead role.

prat poovankozhi manju warrierDirected by Rosshan Andrrews and scripted by Unni R, the movie revolves around a textile shop employee played by Manju Warrier’s character Madhuri who tries to exact revenge for being groped by a goon in a bus. Apart from directing the flick, Rosshan Andrrews made his debut as an actor by playing a baddie in the revenge drama.
