It was just a day ago, actress Rajisha announced that her latest release 'Kho Kho' was being withdrawn from screening in theatres owing to the increase in COVID-19 cases. As the government has imposed more restrictions and COVID protocols to contain the virus spread, the makers of Manju Warrier's latest release 'Chathurmugham' decided to withdraw the screening of the movie from theatres in Kerala.
Manju Warrier confirmed the news through her social media pages. “Dear ones, we are temporarily withdrawing our film ‘Chathurmukham’ from movie theatres considering the current situation all around and everyone’s health. We will definitely be back in theatres for you when it is safer, hopefully very soon,” wrote Manju Warrier. With this latest announcement, 'Chathurmukham' is the second movie that halts screening due to COVID-19.
‘Chathurmukham’, the first techno horror movie in Malayalam, was released on April 8. Directed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V, the movie starred Manju Warrier and Sunny Wayne in the lead roles. The movie was co-produced by Manju Warrier along with Jiss Thomas and Justin Thomas.
