Actor Jayaram is currently busy shooting for Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'. As reported earlier, the actor will also be seen in a Sanskrit movie 'Namo', for which the actor had undergone a major makeover. The latest is that the first look poster of the movie was released last by actress Manju Warrier through her social media handle.
‘Namo’ is based on the friendship between Lord Krishna and Kuchelan. Jayaram is playing the epic character Kuchelan in the movie helmed by Vijesh Mani. Sarkar Desai, Mythili Javedkar, Raj and many other actors from across the country are part of the cast. Touted to be a pan Indian movie with a duration of 101 minutes, ‘Namo’ will feature renowned cast and crew across the country.
Director Vijesh Mani, a Guruvayoor native, is popular for making critically acclaimed films in less duration. Vijesh holds two Guinness records with his movies 'Viswaguru' and 'Netaji'. Padma Shri award winner Anup Jalota, popularly known as the ‘Bhajan Samraat’ is composing music for the upcoming film. Editing is by B Lenil and Cinematography by S Lokanathan.
