Actress Manju Warrier and director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan are teaming up for the first time for a film titled 'Kayattam'. The movie's first look poster was released on the occasion of Eid and had grabbed the attention of the audience.
It has been revealed that Sanal and the team have invented a special language for the film called Ahr Samsa. The musical film that has 10 songs in the new language, is about a group on a trekking trip through the Himalayas. The new language will be spoken by one set of people in the group. Manju Warrier will also be speaking in Ahr Samsa at a few places in the movie.
“Thematically, the story required for one bunch to speak a particular language, so we made a language and called it Ahr Samsar. Ahr translates to Kayattam (climb). It is a sort of phonetic language and most of the words are devised in this manner,” says the movie director. The language is prepared by Ratheesh Eettillam.
Meanwhile, Manju Warrier was filming for ‘The Priest’, a Mammootty starrer before lockdown. The actress has a handful of movies this year such as ‘Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham, ‘Chathur Mugham’, ‘Padavettu’, ‘Kayattam’, ‘Jack and Jill’ and ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ in the pipeline.
