Nivin Pauly and Manju Warrier are teaming up for the first time in Sunny Wayne's production venture 'Padavettu', helmed by Liju Krishna. The news was unveiled by the producer himself through his social media page. “With immense joy, we welcome Ms Manju Warrier on board with Padavettu,” posted Sunny, who is making his debut as a producer.

The film’s shoot has been progressing in Kannur and the actress has joined the shoot. Manju had shared a pic from the sets of the movie. In the picture, we see Manju Warrier in a new look with her short curly hair. And it is believed that she will be seen in the curly looks for the film.

‘Padavettu’ is said to be a rustic entertainer set in Kannur. The director had earlier assured that the film will have Nivin Pauly in a kind of role that he has not done before. It is said to be a challenging role and the audience can expect to see a different side of the actor.

Aditi Balan, who shot to fame with ‘Aruvi’, is making her Malayalam debut by playing the female lead. On the film’s technical front, Deepak D Menon wields the camera and edits are being done by Shefeek Muhammed Ali. Govind Vasantha is handling the music department.

Meanwhile, Manju and Sunny will be next seen together in the horror-thriller Chathurmukham, directed by Ranjeet Kamala Shankar. The movie is currently in the post-production phase.
