Manju Warrier had expected Nivin Pauly to win the Best Actor

Manju Warrier in her small note noted she had always felt Nivin to be a step closer to the Kerala State Film Awards, seeing his performance in each movies. She congratulated the young star on winning the award. She also wished Sudev Nair on winning the award, though she has not seen the movie i which he starred.

Manju termed Nazriya, the Best Actress Award winner as her little sister saying that she has loved the Nazriya in 'Om Shanti Osana' and 'Bangalore Days'. Manju also wished all the other winners of the 45th Kerala State Film Awards.
