Manju Warrier announces her 50th movie

On the occasion of Vijayadasami, actres Manju Warrier announced her 50th feature film titled ‘9 MM.’ To be directed by debutante Dhinil Babu, the movie's screenplay and dialogues are by Dhyan Sreenivasan.

On Monday, Mohanlal unveiled the first look poster through his social media handle. Sharing the poster on her Instagram handle, Manju wrote, “Very happy and proud to let you know about this exciting project I'm going to be part of. Can't wait to join this super FUNTASTIC team of dear friends!"

The movie also has Sunny Wayne, Dileesh Pothan and Dhyan in important roles. Interestingly, most of the movie's technical crew are from Tamil industry. Backed by Visakh Subramaniam and Aju Varghese under the banner of Funtastic Films, the movie's music is Vikram Vedha music director Sam CS.

‘Viswasam’ cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy is roped in as lensman for ‘9MM’ and editing by Samjith Mohamed. The movie is expected to go on floors by next year.

Meanwhile, the Lady Superstar has a handful of projects coming up including Priyadarshan's ambitious project ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’, Santhosh Sivan's ‘Jack and Jill’, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's ‘Kayattam’, newbie filmmaker Ranjeet Kamala Sankar's ‘Chathur Mukham’, Madhu Warrier's 'Lalitham Sundaram', Jofin T Chacko's ‘The Priest’, Liju Krishna's ‘Padavettu’ and ‘Vellarikka Pattanam’ by Mahesh Vettiyaar.
