Majima revealed in an interview with an online portal that acting in movies were far from her mind in her student days. Her education in Chennai had taken her far from the film field. While there, one of the filmy things that interested her was being behind the camera.
Manjima says that acting was not something that crossed her mind, though her friends used to tease her that she is gearing up to be one. Manjima was sure that if at all she would work in movies, it would be behind the scenes. She says that she wishes to be a director. However, Manjima is getting mroe acting offers and she is currently working in a Gautham Menon movie.
