Manjima Mohan is one of the highly-rated young actress in South Indian cinema who has wowed the Tamil audiences with her cute performance in Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada' costarring Simbu. She is currently acting as the lead heroine in 'FIR' opposite Arun Vijay, 'Tughlaq Durbar' with Vijay Sethupathi and 'Kalathil Santhippom' with Jiiva and Arulnithi.
Manjima Mohan recently underwent a surgery on her leg and she has recounted how she struggled to act in first scene after that. She has written on social media positng a pic from the film "This was my very first scene that I had shot for in 'Tughlaq Durbar'
I remember getting ready and limping around (since this was immediately after my surgery when I had just begun to stand on my feet and walk). I was so nervous!! I had not played a character like this before."
The promising young actress has further added "As soon as I reached the spot Delhi Prasad Deenaday sir came and explained the scene to me... He said "you just have to walk" and that shook me. How was I supposed to concentrate on walking without a limp AND also bring in all the emotions he had asked me to perform while walking?!
I told him my worries and all he asked me to do was give it my best and not to worry about anything... And that's exactly what I did! Sometimes we think we are not capable of doing something until we actually give it a try"
'Tughlaq Durbar' directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadayal and produced by Seven Screen Studios has Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Karunakaran and Parthiban as the principal cast.
