Manjima Mohan, who debuted in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya-Gautham Menon's 'Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo' is visibly angry. Recently, an actress by name Sanusha was groped while traveling in a train. She had to fight back herself while most passengers were largely indifferent.
Calling such indifferent passengers "stupid", Manjima says, "I remember my brother once telling me to carry a pepper spray when I travel alone. I used to be very confident at that point and tell him, 'Are you mad? Women are much safer these days than before'. But after reading about a couple of incidents, I really feel just a pepper spray is not enough. I hope things will change and they stop treating women as a sexual object and may be, a little bit of respect would be good."
"Oh marriage is the solution! Wow!!and it's not always about virginity sir ! There is something called self respect too," she told a follower who had advised her to get married.
