Manivannan, who used to be all over Tamil films a decade ago is planning to make a return to Kollywood with his next film. The actor-director had previously made a super-hit movie in Amaidhi Padai and is gearing up to make a sequel for it in 'Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA’.

The film will have Sathyaraj and Seeman playing the lead characters, just like in the original film and will also include his son Raghu in an important role. Expected to be a political thriller, Nagaraja Cholan will be shot in Coimbatore in a single schedule and should be available for release in 2013. It marks the return of Manivannan to Tamil cinema after a break of 11 years. The project will be produced by S.Ravichandran and K.Suresh under V House Productions.
