Manithan
The Tamil remake of Bollywood super hit film 'Jolly LLB' borrows its title from the 1987 Superstar Rajinikanth film 'Manithan'.
The new 'Manithan' stars Udhayanidhi Stalin and Hansika in lead roles while Aishwarya Rajesh of 'Kaaka Muttai' fame has been roped in for an important female role. Vivekh, Radharavi and Prakash Raj play the pivotal supporting characters in this film directed by Ahmed of 'Endrendrum Punnagai' fame.
Music director Santhosh Narayanan scores music for the film and this is will be the first Udhayanidhi starrer without the music of Harris Jayaraj. R.Madhi is handling the camerawork while J.V.Manikanda Balaji takes care of the Editing. Noted film critique and writer Ajayan Bala will be penning the dialogues for the film.
The two trailer that have been released so far have been impressive and they aptly create the right setting for an emotional Court Room drama. Udhay plays a young advocate struggling to prove his worth to the world, Hansika is his 'Mora Ponnu' waiting to marry him. Prakash Raj is a leading lawyer of the country against whom Udhay has to defend his side and win a case. Radharavi plays a Judge. Aishwarya Rajesh is a journalist in the film. Vivekh plays Udhay's uncle and a senior lawyer in Court.
The film also seems to have unearthed the actor in Udhay with so many emotional sequences. .
'Manithan' is being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the Red Giant Movies banner. The film is all set to hit the screens on April 29, 2016.
