Manisha is back to work post marriage. And this time as a filmmaker too. The actress, who has undertaken lessons of filmmaking in New York, is now getting ready to plunge into direction, say sources in the know.
Plans are on to direct a movie. But I dont know when I will start directing it. My priority however will be acting at this point of time. Thats why I am giving a lot of thought before I sign films, she says.
Her last movie before marriage was Partho Ghoshs Ek Second Jo Zindagi Badal De. Post marriage, the first venture she signed is Jai Bhim, in which she will be essaying the role of a politician (Dalit leader to be precise).
Jai Bhim will be entirely shot in Dehradun, it is said. Other than that, the actress is currently playing the all-powerful mother-in-law role in Dhanush starrer Maappillai, which is a remake of a yesteryear Rajinikanth blockbuster of the same title.
