Latest update about Maniratnam-Karthi film

After the stupendous success of Ok Kanamani' fans of Maniratnam are waiting for news about his next. A few months back there were reports that the ace director is doing a multistarrer with Karthi, Nani, Nithya Menon and Dhansika and later reports suggested that the project was dropped and Mani is directing a Hindi film next.
Now we hear from reliable sources that the project with the possible title Vellai Pookal' is very much happening and Karthi is said to have confirmed his participation and the shooting is to begin from April 2016.
