Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi who was last seen on screen in Sethupathi directed by Su Arunkumar and next he is acting in the Vijay Chandar directed Sanga Tamizhan which is expected to release this Diwali. On the other hand he is also getting ready for his next movie, the biopic of Muttiah Muralitharan.

It must be noted that last year after the success of his romantic entertainer 96 co-starring Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi had announced his next movie in the success celebration event of the movie. He had announced that he will be working in a movie produced by 7 Screen Studio Lalit Kumar.

This movie was announced to be titled as Thuglak Darbar and will be a political satire directed by Delhi Prasad. Now it has been speculated that this movie might begin shooting soon, and Aditi Rao Hydari who had played the lead role in Maniratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai and also starred in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam might play the female lead. An official announcement is expected soon.
