'Jai Bhim' Manikandan is now gearing up for the release of his romantic drama, 'Lover', coming to cinemas on February 9th as a Valentine's Day special. Directed by Prabhuram Vyas, the film is a production of the makers of 'Good Night', the actor's previous hit flick.
The music and trailer of 'Lover' was launched with an event in Chennai today. It seems to be a story of a dysfunctional young couple whose lives are very different. The trailer opens with Manikandan waking up to his lover's birthday notification. He sends her a voice message wishing her but deletes it after she leaves him in the seen zone.
Manikandan and Sri Gouri Priya are playing Arun and Divya. When Arun wants to take a big step by getting married, Divya is going through a dilemma as she is unsure if their relationship is healthy and whether she should continue it further. Arun is not handling the situation well as he thinks she is having second thoughts because of his financial status.
'Lover' seems to be filled with relatable and entertaining moments for couples. It promises to be a fitting film for Valentine's Day. The movie also stars Kanna Ravi, Saravanan, Geetha Kailasam, Harish Kumar, Nikhila Shankar, Rini, Pintu Pandu, Arunachaleshwaran and others. The technical team comprises Sean Roldan as the music composer, Shreyaas Krishna as the cinematographer and Barath Vikraman as the editor.
