Mani Sharma walks out of Narappa over creative differences

Music composer Mani Sharma has walked out of Venkatesh's upcoming film Narappa after having a tiff with director Srikanth Addala and producer Suresh Babu says a source. The celebrated composer accused the makers of not giving him a free hand to do his work and was miffed over the recent developments.

Things turned sour after the first glimpse of Narappa was released with GV Prakash Kumar's original score and it was then Mani Sharma has lost it. He had recently lamented that he would be happy had the makers allow him to complete his job. Insiders say some creative decisions didn't augur well with the composer. He realised that the vision of the makers is not in line with his and in order to safeguard his creative freedom, Mani Sharma has decided to opt-out of Narappa.

However, the makers are yet to respond to the news. A remake of Asuran, Narappa has Venkatesh in the titular role, while Priyamani plays his wife. The film is nearing completion and the makers have finalised May 14 as the release date.
