We brought you the news first that Mani Ratnam is embarking on to the OTT arena with a web series titled 'Navarasa' depicting the nine expressions of humans namely love (shringaara), laughter (haasya), kind-heartedness or compassion (karuna), anger (roudra), courage (veera), fear (bhayaanaka), disgust (bheebhatsya), wonder or surprise (adbhutha) and peace or tranquility (shaantha).

We already broke it to you that Suriya is likely to be a part of 'Navarasa' and will be acting under the direction Jayendra of '180' fame. We also informed you that Vijay Sethupathi is acting in the episode directed by Bejoy Nambiar of 'David' and 'Solo'. It is said that G.V. Prakash Kumar is the hero of the part that will be directed by Sudha Kongara of 'Irudhi Suttru' and 'Soorarai Pottru' fame.

Apart from these three directors Mani Ratnam, Suhasini Mani Ratnam are confirmed to do one episode each. Talks are said to be on with K.V. Anand, Gautham Menon and Karthik Naren as well.

The other hot news about 'Navarasa' is that both Arvind Swamy and Siddharth are said to be making their debuts as directors in the series and are also likely to star in their own episodes. Stay tuned for official confirmation and other updates on this project as soon as it is out.
