Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam is known for inspiring the most memorable songs and background scores for all his films. Millions of fans surely would have been wondering how the process takes place.

Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman for the first time ever has treated them to a video in which Mani Ratnam is seen explaining to musicians how exactly the crescendo of the background music for a crucial scene in his upcoming 'Ponniyin Selvan' should be.

'Ponnian Selvan' is jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions and is expected to hit the screens in Summer 2022. The film stars ,Vikram, Karthi,Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sobhita, Prabhu, Jayaram, Nizhalgal Ravi, Rahman, Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Vijay Yesudas, Lal, Nasser, Kishore, Riyaz Khan, Parthiban and Balaji Shaktivel among others
